Inforoute, the market-leading independent tyre fleet inspection solution from Klipboard, which supports tyre service providers and fleet management companies to minimise tyre costs and assist with fleet compliance, has integrated with the TiDaeXÔ platform from MobileIT @pps, enabling it to re-route inspection recommendations as remedial work to e-jobsheet subscribed technicians via TiDaeX.
This integration presents a potential significant opportunity for dealers to grow their business by tapping into 35,000 tyre inspections being conducted on their Inforoute technology in the UK and IRL per month, that are then linked to e-jobsheet, which currently delivers >100,000 transactions per month, or >5,000 jobs per working day.
The technology integration sends tyre inspection recommended actions into TiDaeX via
Inforoute and then receives confirmation back to Inforoute that the job has been completed, closing the requirement down in Inforoute.
Mike Glover, sales director Automotive – Tyres at Klipboard, who was instrumental in signing the TiDaeX agreement, says, “e-jobsheet IS the industry standard, so the partnership with MobileIT @pps is the natural evolution for integrating our technology if the user is doing inspections, enabling them to subscribe to e-jobsheet to push remedial work to the dealer technicians. There was no need (for Klipboard) to reinvent the wheel because there is a significant business opportunity if tyre service providers are using Inforoute in the e-jobsheet space and vice-versa.”
One business that immediately sees the benefits of this integration is Halfords Commercial Fleet Services. Aaron Williams, head of Systems & Processes, comments, “This is a great initiative because it serves all parties’ interests. It enables players to integrate, diversify and attain scale very quickly. It won’t take long for users to grow their business opportunities significantly.”
Steve Daly, director of MobileIT @pps, comments, “We want to connect with bona fide players in the field and believe there is a large coterie of users who could easily expand their business development if they’re doing tyre inspections through Inforoute - and are almost definitely also doing tyre service work – to do so in a ‘connected/integrated’ way in conjunction with TiDaeX/e-jobsheet. As a result, Klipboard, MobileIT @pps and TiDaeX connected partners – both manufacturer and breakdown service alike – as well as dealer subscribers get to “play and win” through these holistic/end-to-end integrations.”
